The big day of Google Stadia is just around the corner. As announced on Stadia’s official Twitter account back in October, Google Stadia will drop on November 19.
Imagine a world where you don’t have to play the next big release title with extravagant gaming equipment. A world where everything you need to do to begin gaming is to open your browser pick a player, and start gaming – no waiting for the longer download.
This will actually become a reality if Google’s cloud gaming service, Stadia, fulfills its commitments – from opening a Chrome tab to playing a 4 K, 60fps player, everything done in 5 seconds – no installation needed!
At launch, Google has promised support for desktop, laptops, tablets, and smartphones – but just to initiate the Pixel series – without a hardware device, with games powered by Google’s own data centers instead. The cloud computing ability of Stadia, as revealed, is the equivalent of a console running at 10.7 GPU teraflops’, which is more than the average PS4 Pro and Xbox One X.
Google Stadia could prove to be an absolute game-changer.
